Present Continuous Tense
ประโยคที่ใช้ present continuous tense หรือ ปัจจุบันกาลต่อเนื่อง มีอีกชื่อว่า present progressive tense
โครงสร้างก็คือ
👉Subject + is/ am/ are + V.ing (present participle)
Present continuous tense จะใช้เพื่อบอก
1. เหตุการณ์ที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นอยู่ตอนที่พูด
Kevin is getting off his plane.
Those boys are celebrating their first goal.
👉มีคำบอกเวลาว่าเหตุการณ์กำลังเกิดขึ้น เช่น right now, now, at the moment
2. แผนการในอนาคต
I am taking Chinese language course next year.
Doctor Watson is going on a European cruise next summer.
3. เหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นซ้ำ และอาจต้องการเน้นว่าเราอยากให้มันหยุด
I am always losing my money on discounted items.
Hannah is missing her bus again.
4. เหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นชั่วคราว
The government is raising the taxes to cover the loss.
The storm is hitting this small town.
ประโยคปฏิเสธ
Subject+ is/ am/ are + not + V.ing (present participle)
ประโยคคำถาม
Is/ Am/ Are + subject+ V.ing (present participle)?
Wh-question + is/ am/ are + subject+ V.ing ?
